Willing Coffee – Guildford

The idea for Willing Coffee blossomed over a number of years for owners Tim & Veronique Willing, fostered by many baristas who took the time to talk to them about specialty coffee. Tim Willing is a former Australian Track Cycling champion, with Willing Coffee inspired by his great love of cycling to be a place for community and cyclists to gather. The brief was for a classic, inviting neighbourhood cafe much like the family run coffee shops in Italy. The sort of place that people come to every day, that isn’t an indulgence but instead has a simple but considered food offering.

The focus at Willing is on the finest coffee, brewed to exacting standards; each shot is weighed and timed for the perfect pour every time. For milk-based coffee Willing roast their own beans and offer a choice of single origins for espresso. The coffee shop features a changing line up of local and international roasters, including Sey Coffee, Passenger Coffee, Tim Wendelboe and local Perth roasters, Twin Peaks Coffee, Community Coffee Co and Modus Coffee (just to name a few!) with three different filter coffees on rotation every day. The retail shelf is stocked with beans for you to take home, fresh loaves from Mary St Bakery, alternative milk and an array of brewing accessories.

Willing also serve superb croissants, baked in house daily, aswell as house made granola, pastries and bagels.
