The Coolbinia, a $57 million five-storey development at 2-8 Adair Parade is set to transform the local landscape and contribute to the vibrancy of the local community. The Coolbinia draws inspiration from the grand apartments of Milan and the Art Deco architecture of the 1920s, featuring classic curves and highly refined details. The collection will include twenty-five apartments, eight town homes and five village centre shops, with beautifully detailed interiors celebrating the colours and locally sourced materials of Western Australia.

Designed by the multi-award winning MJA Studio, with landscaping by CAPA, the vast, free-flowing residences are defined by highly considered dual and triple aspect light filled floorplans featuring extraordinary open spaces and private alfresco living. The eight, three-bedroom town homes feature a magnificent master suite, private lift and garden or street aspect. The apartment residences are highly refined, with opulent internal living areas and integrated outdoor spaces to capture the expansive district views.

Signature Willing features include 2.7m ceilings, Miele appliances, European oak flooring, feature Italian marble options, bespoke kitchen and bathroom detailing, and designer lighting. An array of personalisation options are also available.

Private members club inspired features include a beautiful pool area with outdoor poolside shower, separate sauna, and well-equipped gym with adjoining yoga space. Residents and visitors are welcomed into a vast, secure open-air lobby with sculptural feature staircase, and additional resident facilities will include a parcel room, private secure storerooms, bicycle storage and workshop, dog wash, and visitor parking.

The Coolbinia has been carefully contemplated throughout the design evolution with the ground floor shops being carefully considered. The site is recognised as a local centre within the area and will deliver a beautiful new village centre. Five ground floor shops will come alive with a carefully curated mix of shopkeepers, which will include a coffee shop and wine bar. Additional shops will likely feature a wellness centre, florist and a book shop. This village centre will be much like Willing’s award-winning Clifton & Central development in Mt Lawley, where the ground floor shops are proving to be destinations that people enjoy walking and cycling to.

Willing Property’s Success Story

The approval for The Coolbinia project marks another significant achievement for Willing , following the successful approval of the $33 million West, Mount Lawley development earlier this year. It complements the company’s $46 million apartment and townhouse development on Field Street in Mount Lawley due for completion in early 2024 and the award winning Clifton and Central project.

Tim Willing, expressed his pride in receiving the green light for the project. Believing strongly in the transformative power of good design, Willing Property aims to lead Perth into a new era of thoughtful place development that resonates with the local community.

Looking Ahead

With approval secured, construction for The Coolbinia development is slated to begin early next year, under the capable guidance of Willing Build, Willing’s newly established building arm. As the project comes to life, it is expected to emerge as an inviting and vibrant hub for residents and visitors alike, promising a delightful new village center that will enrich the lives of the local community and beyond.
